HMD Global, the company that is in news for bringing back the Nokia brand out of obscurity is rolling out an over-the-air (OTA) update for Nokia 6. Apart from that, you will also receive a handful of new emojis to express yourself better. The Nokia 6 ARTE edition is in a class of its own with its black piano finish (it will also collect smudges and scratches very easily).
This update carries the build number '00CN_3_170′ and is said to be 369 MB in size.
Apart from this, the update even has made some Nokia-6 specific changes, such as improving the device's power-saving and background management features, as well as adding support for dual-SIM dual-standby for 4G and 3G networks. The fact that Nokia already started to roll out the Android 7.1.1 update to its users suggests they are committed to staying on the market, not only making a passing comeback.
The battery capacity inside the smartphone is rumored to reach 3,800mAh, while the smartphone could come with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Along with these new features and improvements is the installation of April 2017 security patch for Nokia 6, the latest security patch available from Google. Nokia also managed to make a huge comeback by releasing three Android-powered smartphones. Some of you may also have received an automatic update notification pop-up, asking you to download and install the update on your Nokia 6.
The Nokia 6 is now available in China and some select countries. Envisioned by Phone Designer on Facebook, the phone has a 5.5-inch screen with a 2:1 aspect ratio and packs front-firing stereo speakers despite the exceedingly thin bezels on all sides. The company is also expected to release the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, which are lower-end, in some countries in early May.
As far as specifications are concerned, Nokia 6 has an aluminium unibody design. The phone on the left is supposed to be the Nokia 8.
