Despite the inclusion of that shiny new plumbing stuffed inside, Microsoft also confirmed that the Xbox One X is the smallest Xbox to date. Microsoft's Phil Spencer confirm this news at Microsoft's E3 2017 event. Are on-paper specs enough to attract buyers? Forza 7 Motorsport will come with 700 new cars, 30 racing environments, and on Xbox One X it will run at a native 4k resolution with 60 FPS.

As to how much it will cost, the Xbox One X can be bought in the U.S. for $500, while buyers in the United Kingdom will be able to get their hands on it in exchange of a cool £449. This allows it to better cope with screen-tearing when compared to the PS4 Pro. The One X is also 31% faster than Xbox One and offers 4.6x more graphics performance. However, the PS4 Pro has one distinct advantage of having a dedicated virtual reality headset.
Microsoft rival Sony already offers a console with 4K capabilities, the PS4 Pro, which was released in November previous year, but the PS4 Pro's specifications fall short of the One X. That, and the fact that it costs just $100 more than the PS4 Pro, which is now priced at $399.
Microsoft is also courting players by working to make more popular games from earlier Xbox console versions playable on its latest hardware. You'll also need a 4K-ready monitor to enjoy true 4K UHD playback on One X. Microsoft knows that not everybody owns a 4K monitor. If you own a large number of Xbox One and/or Xbox 360 games and you play them religiously, you'll get a kick out of seeing them with a graphical spit-polish.
The Xbox One X was Microsoft's centerpiece this E3, and it may indeed be the most powerful console ever created.
During the conference, which was broadcast online, Xbox Director of Software Engineering Kareem Choudhry called the new console a work of "craftsmanship", boasting the graphics processing Unit (GPU) of running at 1172 MHZ and the console's processor also features a liquid-cooled vapour chamber.
