" LG Electronics (LG) will incorporate an F1.6 aperture camera and glass lens in the dual camera of its upcoming V30 flagship smartphone, introducing industry-leading innovations that bring a new level of photographic innovation to the mobile industry", said the blog.
While everything about the Galaxy Note 8 is building good hype for the phone just ahead of its launch on August 23, LG is coming up with a move that might just create some confusion among potential buyers. According to a report on Android Police, the company might launch the all-new LG V30 Plus along the expected V30 at the pre-IFA 2017 event in Berlin, Germany. Tech Radar reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and LG V30 Plus will go on sale on three local carriers on September 15, making it hard for customers to narrow down to a single device.
But LG isn't a pro at this game like Samsung. Well, we are just doing guesswork here. Its expected price tag will be the local Korean equivalent of $875, while the V30 is quite likely getting launched at around $700.
Sources indicate that this is all part of a dedicated goal on LG's part to drive up sales by offering a range of features and prices, hitting the sweet spot among multiple tiers of consumers who have varying needs. The report further suggests that the devices will differ in terms of inbuilt storage capacity. However, there is still no confirmation whether the V30 Plus will be available worldwide or if it is only going to be available in South Korea.
LG recently detailed the camera that will be included with the V30, one that packs an f/1.6 aperture for allowing more light to reach the sensor.
As can be recalled, there was a lot of debate regarding this subject of specs for this smartphone in the recent past.
There will be an LG V30 Plus, and it will also be shown off at the end of August. Both devices could share the same OLED panel with a difference in the real estate of the screen. The LG V30 will offer internal storage of 64 GB, while the LG V30 Plus will offer 128 GB.
