The hospital team tried their best to save children, but 30 deaths were reported in 48 hours.
CM also presented the figure of deaths of children in the last 5 days.
The death toll began on 10th when twenty three children died after the firm which supplied oxygen at the hospital stopped doing so as the bill was not paid.
Prashant Trivedi, the state's top health official, admitted there was a problem in the pipeline supplying oxygen.
Indicating Japanese Encephalitis as the possible cause, he said, "Our war is with Encephalitis.and for that soon after coming to power we have started vaccination on a large scale".
Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deeply concerned and has offered complete support, Adityanath said that nobody can be more sensitive than him in the regard.
"We are suspending BRD medical college principal with immediate effect for this negligent behaviour", State Minister for Medical Education Ashutosh Tandon said on Saturday, while addressing the media over the tragedy.
"The reasons for the disruption of oxygen supply are being investigated but our probe has revealed that no deaths happened because of it", Singh told reporters after a visit to the hospital.
When asked about the allegations put forward by oxygen supply agencies about their due payments, he said, "This is a wrong allegation against me".
But he said it did not cause the children's deaths as there was a sufficient number of oxygen cylinders to ensure all the youngsters could be treated. He also told the opposition not to "politicize" the issue.
The Chief Minister earlier said the role of the oxygen vendor will be probed. Government sources said he failed to take prompt action even though those in charge of oxygen supply wrote a letter on Thursday, warning about the impending crisis.
