Till now, Nokia 9 was running only Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS in the earlier leaks. Now the smartphone has been spotted on the GFXBench benchmarking website with Android 8.0.0 Oreo operating system, as per a report of The Android Soul. While some carriers still allow their users to use certain apps like Whatsapp even if they have used all of their mobile data, Android Oreo does not realize this yet.
But, if previous released pattern is taken has any indication, Samsung is expected to add custom features to Android Oreo, like the way it did with the Android Nougat and most probably complete the testing in a month or two. The Android 8.0 will be arriving preinstalled on the forthcoming smartphones and it will be available as the first or second major update for the existing smartphones. Upon rebooting, Pixel users say their device shows Android 8.0 with Google's new September patch.
Pixel and Pixel XL users on Verizon are reportedly receiving a new update with build OPR3.170623.007 with 2017-09-01 Security Patch.
After many months of waiting, the public version of Android 8.0 Oreo finally started rolling out.
While some users reported that it's a downgrade OTA on social platforms like Google+, others reached out to Google support to clarify the situation.
Expect Oreo to make its debut next month with the Oreo update hitting Nexus and Pixel devices recently.
The routine of Google launches have seen the series of the "number" being very common.
I've not had anything for any of my devices in the United Kingdom yet, and the images aren't yet up on the Google Developers site, but hopefully it won't be long now.
