The american edition of the prestigious magazine Vanity Fair has chosen the gorgeous Meghan Markle for the cover of the issue month of October. Though the world rejoiced to know that the couple is truly in love, the Suits actress has been getting all kinds of reactions.
However, at least one person wasn't happy with the way Markle was portrayed: her best friend, actress Priyanka Chopra. The source claimed that Meghan confessed she was finding it hard to be away from Harry after getting to see so much of him during the pair's recent vacation in Africa. Chopra told ET, "I don't [know] if I will get into trouble for this, but I have an opinion". Disappointed by VF's piece, she said, "It would have been nice to write about her, not just her boyfriend". I'm just saying. I mean, she's an actor, she's an activist, she's a philanthropist.
"It's just a little sexist", she continued. Look, I'm a feminist and I love boys, okay... Because we need that help, we need people saying, 'You know what? "It is well to have its own identity".
Despite being a Prince, it seems that Harry didn't want an over the top bash and instead opted for something more intimate and private this year.
The actress films her TV show "Suits" in the city and Toronto is poised to host the event for injured and disabled servicemen, with the duo set to go public on September 23, according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper.
Since confirming their relationship previous year, #Prince Harry and #Meghan Markle have not appeared in public together in an official engagement, but that will soon change, as according to The Daily Mail, the couple is going to make their first ever official joint appearance later this month in the #Invictus Games in Toronto.
The visit followed the couple's romantic getaway to Botswana to celebrate Meghan's 36th birthday, with the couple travelling north following their arrival back in the UK.
