A total of nine police officers had been reported injured as of 9 p.m., including one officer with a dislocated shoulder and an officer with a possible broken jaw, Acting Police Chief Lawrence O'Toole said shortly after midnight Saturday, appearing with Krewson in a video.

"Orders to disperse were given numerous times".
Security concerns have forced U2 to cancel their Saturday night (Sept. 16) show in St. Louis, Missouri at The Dome at America's Center, according to a statement shared by the band and Live Nation. The vast majority of Friday's protest groups did not engage in any property damage, and most of the 23 arrested were released as of Saturday morning.
Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson issued his ruling against 36-year-old Jason Stockley. "It's going to be ... three hundred-plus days of direct action", the Post-Dispatch previously quoted an activist as saying if Stockley wasn't convicted. Dashcam footage captured Stockley saying "going to kill this [expletive], don't you know it" before Stockley and his partner rammed Smith's van and Stockley got out and shot five rounds into the auto, killing Smith. Stockley and his partner chased Smith at speeds exceeding 80 miles per hour, the documents said.
However, Wilson ruled that based on "nearly thirty years on the bench ... an urban heroin dealer not in possession of a firearm would be an anomaly", concluding that Smith had been the owner of the firearm, and referencing the drug found in Smith's auto. Prosecutors accused the officer of planting a silver revolver to justify the shooting.
The revolver found at the scene only showed the officer's DNA.
Stockley left the police force in 2013 and moved to Houston. Twenty-three arrests were made, and 10 officers were hurt, St Louis police said. The state did not initially prosecute Stockley but, in the aftermath of Ferguson, charges were pressed in May 2016.
Media reports and preparation announcements from officials indicate that Wilson may rule Friday.
Prior to the not-guilty verdict, Republican Missouri Governor Eric Greitens put the U.S. National Guard on standby in expectation of demonstrations, deploying some troops at points of critical infrastructure.
