"I think Coutinho had a really good game, and a big impact on the game", said Klopp.
Liam Brady believes questions should be asked about Jurgen Klopp over the Liverpool manager's inability to solve their defensive issues.
However, after picking up seven points from a possible twelve in the Premier League this season, four of those points coming against last season's two top teams, the Clarets will have good reason to believe they can compete against anyone at present.
Liverpool will come into this game looking to put their title ambitions back on track and after Burnley shocked Liverpool 2-0 in the early stages of last season, it will be a fixture which the Reds don't view with complacency, but also a game which could provide Liverpool's fragile defence with five consecutive clean-sheets at Anfield in the Premier League.
"Result-wise, you are right, but honestly, as a person I'm not like this".
With last weekend's 5-0 thrashing at Manchester City to also consider, Klopp admitted that he was disappointed with the ways things have fallen for his team since the September global break.
"We created moments. You can not create in each situation a finishing situation, but we did it absolutely often enough".
The off-colour Coutinho was replaced by Solanke late on and the substitute could have turned one point into three, but he contrived to hit the woodwork with the goal gaping. "Obviously we have quality and now we have to use this quality consistently, that should be the plan".
"I don't want to ignore that they had two headers at the end of the game; that would have been typical a little bit for us if they would have scored in these situations".
He added: "The boys will take their chances in the future, there's no doubt about it, but in this moment it doesn't feel right".
"You can see it in each game and it is so hard to play [against] as all their players show a big desire to defend all the situations and there is not one player in the team who you think "he gambles a little bit". It's not going to happen. The Reds are attacking the Burnley goal, but so far without success.
"It's nearly subliminal at times".
Liverpool had an array of efforts to try to win it as they dominated, but the Reds could even have lost after Joel Matip was forced to clear a Ben Mee header off the line. Every year you can stay in the Premier League, you're more at ease and believe in yourself and the team more and keep moving forward.
