Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund declares dividend under two schemes (On Dec 12, 2008)

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has declared dividend under Franklin India Taxshield and Templeton India Pension Plan; where the quantum of dividends declared are 30 per cent (Rs.3.00 per unit) and 12 per cent (Rs.1.20 per unit) respectively.
The record date of dividends is set to be 17 December 2008; hence all unit holders on the date will be eligible for dividend. The units have a face value of Rs.10 per unit.
Franklin India Taxshield has intends to provide medium to long-term growth of capital along with income tax rebate. While Templeton India Pension Plan aims to provide investors regular income under the dividend plan and capital appreciation under the growth plan.
